Derek Berry is the author of the novel “Heathens & Liars of Lickskillet County,” as well as three poetry chapbooks “Skinny Dipping with Strangers,” “Glitter Husk,” & “Buggery,” winner of the BOOM Chapbook Prize with Bateau Press. Their recent work has appeared in ANMLY, Raleigh Review, Longleaf Review, Jet Fuel Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Gigantic Sequins, & elsewhere. They are the recipient of Broad River Prize for Prose, Emrys Poetry Prize, and KAKALAK Poetry Award, among other honors. They live in Aiken, South Carolina, where they work during the day in historic archives.
Ray McManus is the author of three book of poetry— “Punch” (Hub City Press), recipient of Best Book of Poetry Published by an Independent Press, “Red Dirt Jesus,” winner of the Marick Press Poetry Prize, & “Driving through the country before you are born,” winner of the 2006 SC First Book Prize in Poetry. He is currently the Writer-in-Residence at Columbia Museum of Art.
Barrett Warner is the author of Why Is It So Hard To Kill You? (Somondoco Press) and two chapbooks, My Friend Ken Harvey (Publishing Genius) and Til I’m Blue in the Face (Tropos Press). His poetry, short fiction, essays and reviews can be found in Coda Quarterly, Adroit Journal, Consequence Magazine, Tishman Review, Chiron Review, Entropy Magazine, Cultural Weekly and many others. In 2014 he received the Chris Toll Memorial Prize, the Salamander fiction prize and the Cloudbank poetry prize. He is also an editor for Free State Review, a nonpartisan literary journal which he edits with Hal Burdett, J. Wesley Clark, and Bob Timberg. He is also an acquisitions editor for Galileo Books.
